Phone Service


Securus Technologies, Inc provides the inmate telephone service to our facilities.  These services allow inmates to make collect calls or purchase debit phone time.  Phone services are normally available to inmates between 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.


Collect Calls

Due to bad debt ratios on collect calls, the receiver is no longer able to accept the charges.  They have the option to set up an AdvancedConnect Account.

Securus AdvancedConnect Accounts

A Securus AdvanceConnect account is a friend and family-owned prepaid calling account that allows you to receive collect calls from inmates/offenders and have the charges deducted automatically from your prepaid account.  Our prepaid AdvanceConnect account puts you in control of your spending and ensures you can receive calls from correctional facilities.

This account offers you the following benefits:

  • You are able to receive calls as long as funds are available in your account;

  • You can add multiple phone numbers to your account so your loved one can reach your home phone, work phone, cell phone, other relatives, neighbors, friends, etc;

  • Calls will connect to cell phones;

  • You have 24/7/365 access to your account via the Securus website ( or by calling (800) 844-6591. 

Inmate Debit Calling Account

Securus Inmate Debit account is an inmate-owned prepaid calling account used by inmates to pay for their own telephone calls.  Inmates may transfer funds from their facility trust/commissary account into an Inmate Debit account via making a request through their commissary.  This account offers the following benefits:  

  • You can fund an Inmate Debit account without having your own calling account;

  • Inmates can call anyone on their approved calling list without requiring friends and family to create separate prepaid accounts;

  • Calls will connect to cell phones;

  • You have 24/7/365 access to your account via the Securus website ( or by calling (800) 844-6591.

Funds placed in the Inmate Debit account will become the property of the inmate.  Friends and family members will not be able to receive refunds on this account.

Call Limits and Fees

Calls are limited to 15 minutes per call.  Local calls made from the Henry County Detention Center are $0.18 per minute with a cap of $2.55.  Long distance calls are $0.21 per minute with a cap of $5.25. International Call rates vary depending on the location being called.

You may block calls from inmates by pressing “6” (when prompted) when you are called by an inmate.  We do not remove blocks on phones per inmate request.

Three Way Calling Notice

This facility utilizes a 3-way prevention system to detect and terminate all potential 3-way calls.  Understanding what causes a 3-way call termination can help prevent false 3-way call interruptions.

To avoid false call termination:

  • Do not attempt a 3-way call.

  • Do not use a speaker phone or amplified phone.

  • Do not use a phone with static problems.

  • Do not move out of range of a cordless phone.

  • Do not accept call waiting during your call.

  • Do not yell into the phone.

  • Do not cover mouthpiece to mute phone.

  • Do not cough into phone.   

  • Do not pickup another extension during your call.  If this is necessary, speak immediately after picking up the extension.
