The Deputies assigned to the Warrant Unit specialize in investigating and serving all arrest warrants issued by Henry County Superior, State, Juvenile and Magistrate Courts. Additionally, they serve warrants issued by the Cities of McDonough, Locust Grove, Stockbridge and Hampton and from other jurisdictions outside Henry County as required by law. This concentrated effort results in over 5,000 arrests per year.
The Warrant Unit also has Deputies assigned to the US Marshals' Regional Task force to investigate Henry County's most serious felony arrest warrants.

If you have information on a wanted person, contact the Warrant Unit at 770-288-7103 or by Email or if an emergency call 911 and advise the 911 operator that you have information on someone that has an outstanding warrant. If you wish you may keep your identity anonymous.
How do I check the status of a warrant?
To check the status of a warrant you must come to the Sheriff's Office and speak with someone in the Warrant Division.
How do I take out a Warrant on Someone?
To take out a criminal warrant on someone you must contact the Henry County Magistrate Court at 770-288-7700 during normal business hours.
If there is an outstanding warrant on me, how do I turn myself in to The Henry County Sheriff's Office?
To turn yourself in on an outstanding warrant you come to the Henry County Sheriff's Office and advise the Sheriff's Office employee you come in contact with that you are there to turn yourself in. They will then contact the Warrant Unit to have a Deputy get with you to fill out the paperwork and walk you through the booking process.
